Opportunities

We are a lab group in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology department at Yale University. There are plenty of opportunities coming up! Please email me if you are interested in joining the lab, briefly describing your research interests and including a copy of your CV.

Opportunities for Postdocs

I am interested in initiating collaborations with postdocs. I will periodically post vacancy announcements affiliated with projects currently funded by the lab. However, I also encourage postdocs to explore options via Yale’s excellent fellowship programs or via external fellowships, such as Smith Fellows or McDonnell Foundation Complexity Fellowships. Please contact me with ideas and we can discuss further options.

Opportunities for Graduate Students

I am accepting applications for graduate students via the EEB graduate program. Eligible prospective graduate students should consider applying for NSF Graduate Research Fellowships concurrent with their application to graduate school. Multiple fellowships are also available via the Department of Energy’s Computational Science and Science programs, as well as other governmental and non-governmental sources depending on your interests.

Opportunities for Undergrads

I am always looking for motivated undergraduate students who are interested in working on independent projects or would like to get involved with the lab’s research. Yale students especially are encouraged to get in touch. If you are interested in doing your thesis research in the lab, please get in touch during the fall of your Junior year with enough time to produce a proposal and apply for field work funding (if necessary).
